Beach Club

It's a cumbersome 30-minute drive outside the city to this lakefront beach club that's unlike another that we have ever seen. Reminding us of our teenage days in summer camp where days lingered late and your hormones raged uncontrollably, this lakefront dance and beach club space offers organized summertime dance events and singles parties from May through September with more "show us you tits" and "flash your dick" antics than we have ever seen. Not your ordinary outdoor dance crowd of course, a cross-section of Quebecois arrives to show off their latest tats, skimpiest thong and most outrageous belly flops along an sandy outdoor promenade constructed with dance floor, bar and small tanning beach. While the crowd arrives in freshly-purchased Ed Hardy and occasional Burberry bikini, things quickly turn to raunchy as the impromptu wet underwear show, 2pm foam party or makeshift go-go platform predictably erupts with freshly tanned, ever-ripped bodies looking to bump and grind. 

Tips

Avoid the motocross and acrobatic theme events in lieu of annual events like the bimonthly Ibiza theme party and Hawaiian Tropic contests that brings out the best eye candy.

Last Word

While we expected St. Tropez ala quiet Quebec countryside, what we really found was a lake version of the Vegas-style pool party with more trashy-glam antics and spilled beer than you could ever imagine.
